Journalists from South Korea referred to the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the country's Armed Forces, TASS reports.

According to information provided by South Korean media, communication routes in the western and eastern parts of the Korean Peninsula are affected.
The North Korean side reportedly blew up sections of roads located north of the military demarcation line.
It is also known that the readiness of the Republic of Korea military personnel has been increased in light of the current situation.
Earlier, the General Staff of the DPRK Armed Forces announced plans to block communication routes connecting the country with South Korea.
In addition, Pyongyang made a statement about its intention to turn the border with the Republic of Korea into a “fortress.”
