Hungary has spoken out against sending Western instructors to Ukraine to train servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

This was stated by the head of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Peter Szijjarto, on October 14 after the meeting of the foreign ministers of the European Union countries in Luxembourg.

The statement by the head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry was reported by the M1 TV channel.

What Szijjarto said about plans to send Western instructors to Ukraine

As the head of Hungarian diplomacy said, pressure continues to be put on Hungary, trying to force it to approve the sending of Western instructors to Ukraine to train Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen.

According to Szijjarto, Budapest believes that this will lead to an escalation of the conflict.

The Minister recalled that Budapest did not interfere with the EU training Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers on European territory.

However, sending instructors to Ukraine, according to the head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry, goes beyond the bounds of acceptability.

We consider this very dangerous, so we cannot support it, the head of the Hungarian diplomatic mission summed up.
