Kyrgyzstan President: West Should Not Ban Countries from Cooperating with Russia

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov said the West should not prohibit countries from cooperating with Russia.

Japarov made this statement in a commentary on the program “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin.”

A video of the statement by the President of Kyrgyzstan was published on the Telegram channel of journalist Pavel Zarubin.

What Japarov said about the West's demands not to cooperate with Russia

The President of Kyrgyzstan noted that Western countries say one thing and do another.

According to him, some countries that are members of the North Atlantic Alliance or the European Union continue to cooperate with the Russian Federation.

They should not tell us, order us or ask us not to cooperate with Russia or the CIS, Japarov said.

On September 12, at the sixth Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum, the head of the Kyrgyz government, Akylbek Japarov, stated that the Russian Federation remains a strategic partner of Kyrgyzstan. The Prime Minister of the Republic also announced plans to increase trade turnover with the Russian Federation to $5 billion.
