The publication notes that the German Defense Ministry does not believe that Ukraine will be able to carry out a counteroffensive in the near future.

On October 11, German Prime Minister Olaf Scholz announced at a press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Berlin that Ukraine would receive an additional military aid package worth 1.4 billion euros by the end of the year.

According to Scholz, Germany, with the support of Denmark, Norway and Belgium, will transfer to Ukraine IRIS-T and Skynex air defense systems, tanks, Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns, armored vehicles, wheeled howitzers, attack drones, radars and artillery shells.
