Hezbollah engages Israeli soldiers in battle
Representatives of the Shiite Hezbollah movement said they had engaged in battle with Israeli army infantry.
The fighting, they said, took place in the area of the town of Odaise in southern Lebanon.

At dawn on Wednesday, Islamic resistance fighters clashed with enemy Israeli infantry forces who were trying to penetrate the settlement of Odayse from the direction of Hallet al-Mahafer, MIA Rossiya Segodnya quotes the report as saying.
According to the authors of the statement, during the battle, the Israeli military suffered losses and retreated.
The IDF also reported heavy fighting in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli military has urged local residents not to travel south of the Litani River.
