Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the country could be attacked by Israel.
The head of the Turkish state made this statement on October 1, speaking in parliament.
Erdogan’s words are quoted by MIA “Russia Today” .
Erdogan stated that Israel, which is committing genocide in the Gaza Strip and terrorist attacks in Lebanon, is trying to draw other countries in the region into the conflict through all sorts of provocations.
After Palestine and Lebanon, the lands of our homeland will become the place to which the Israeli administration will turn its gaze, the Turkish leader said.
Since last week, the Israeli Air Force has been carrying out massive strikes against Shiite Hezbollah targets in Lebanon.
Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah was killed in the Beirut strike.
