Many gardeners and vegetable growers firmly believe that ants can be exterminated using only expensive chemical products.
In fact, this is not the case: you can prepare an effective poison with your own hands.
The resulting composition will cost you pennies, but the effect is no worse than that of store-bought drugs.
Another undeniable advantage of this method is that it does not harm plants and also repels other garden pests.
To do this, you will need the familiar ammonia, which can be purchased at any pharmacy.
The recipe is simple: 10 ml of ammonia must be mixed in one liter of water. Important: all manipulations with the preparation should be carried out not in the house, but in the open air.
When everything is ready, pour this “homemade” remedy directly into the anthill.
As a rule, after 1-2 days there will not be a single ant left on the site. If the ammonia has failed, repeat everything you have done again until the ants have completely disappeared.
For reference
Ants are a family of insects from the superfamily Antidae, order Hymenoptera.
