Surely among your acquaintances there are people who hand out buckets of cucumbers in the summer – not out of pure altruism, but because they simply do not have time to preserve them and make salads.
If you want to join their ranks, use a secret fertilizer for this crop, which experienced gardeners actively use in their plots.
For the first recipe, you will need 100 g of fresh yeast and 1 liter of warm (preferably homemade) milk. Let the dressing sit for 2-4 hours, then dilute with warm water in a ratio of 1 to 10.
Use the product to spray cucumber beds in the morning or evening.
There is another recipe, which suggests using 10 grams of dry yeast, 2 heaping tablespoons of sugar and 10 liters of warm water. The fertilizer should be left in a warm place for 4 hours.
After you dilute it with warm water (in a 1 to 5 ratio), water the cucumbers at the root – a seedling needs 200 ml, and an adult stem – 1 l.
It is recommended to use yeast dressing three times per season.
The first time it should be applied 5 days after transplanting the seedlings into open ground. If you sow seeds in the ground, feed the cucumbers when the 6th leaf appears.
The second application should occur when the first flowers appear, and the third – during the period of ovary formation.
