Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", a scientist, agronomist and landscape designer, told how to increase the yield of cherries and sour cherries.
Organic fertilizers
Fertilizer is applied two weeks after flowering.
To do this, you need to mix ash and mullein and prepare an infusion from it.
Fertilizer for young trees is prepared by mixing a bucket of mullein and a kilogram of wood ash.
All this is filled with water (7 buckets) and left to brew for one week. The finished infusion is used for watering. Consumption is 1-2 buckets per tree.
When fertilizing during fruiting, mix one bucket of mullein and 1.5 kilograms of ash. Six buckets of water will be needed.
Mineral fertilizers
It is easier to use mineral fertilizers.
1. Add 20 grams of ammophoska and 150 grams of ash per square meter to the trunk circle of young trees.
2. Adult trees are fed in the same order, but increasing the dosage to 230 grams of ammophoska and 200 grams of ash.
The composition strengthens trees and ensures a rich harvest.
