Whitefly is a very dangerous pest.
Representatives of the order Hemiptera can partially or completely deprive a summer resident of a harvest of tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, cabbage, zucchini and other crops.
Fighting whitefly is a complicated matter. Yes, at first, using various chemicals gives good results.
But then it becomes clear that the pest has adapted to the “chemistry”.
Therefore, gardeners should pay attention to natural means of pest control.
Take a couple of garlic cloves. Turn them into a "mash" and put them in a deep container.
Fill the mass with moderately warm water (one liter is enough).
After 24 hours, the super remedy against whitefly will be ready. All that remains is to pass the liquid through the filter surface.
Pour the drops of the resulting solution onto the vulnerable plant. The soil around the flora representative must be treated in the same way.
The procedure should be done weekly: repeat it until the pest is completely defeated.
The soil around a plant attacked by whitefly can be dusted with unburned wood residue. The effect will be pleasantly surprising.
Instead of ash, you can use coffee grounds.
The same result will be achieved: getting rid of whiteflies.
For reference
Whitefly is a family of small homoptera insects (Homoptera) from the suborder Sternorrhyncha.
