You can grow potatoes in the same place for no more than 3-4 years in a row.

How to Grow Potatoes in the Same Place
Firstly, a week or two before digging up the potatoes, you should mow down the tops.
It must be burned, it must not be buried in the soil under any circumstances. Also, diseased or rotten tubers must not be left in the garden bed.
After harvesting, the soil should be treated with a biofungicide based on Trichoderma or hay bacillus.
Secondly, immediately after harvesting, you need to plant green manure/winter grain crops.
In spring, two to three weeks before planting potatoes, green manure should be worked into the soil. After that, the bed should be watered with a solution of EM preparation.
Thirdly, it is necessary to regularly apply organic and mineral fertilizers.
At the beginning of the growing season, potatoes need nitrogen, during the budding period - phosphorus, in the second half of the growing season - potassium.
It is also extremely important to properly prepare potatoes for planting. This should be done immediately after harvesting.
We select healthy, medium-sized tubers and leave them for several weeks in a place with diffused light.
During this time, solanine forms in the tubers, and they turn green. Such tubers are stored better.
If there were signs of disease on the bushes, before placing the tubers in the cellar, they should be treated with a solution of Fitosporin-M, and then dried in the shade.
In the spring, a month before planting, the potatoes must be moved to a well-lit, warm place and laid out (in one layer) with the apical eyes facing up. The tubers must be moistened periodically.
