If the soil is very depleted, add nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus, which are what tomatoes need most.

Tomatoes should not be planted after eggplants, peppers, potatoes, peas and physalis.

If the tomatoes are very sick, it is necessary to carry out disinfection procedures.

You can water the soil with a disinfectant solution, or remove the top layer of soil 20-30 centimeters thick and replace it with fresh soil.

There is no need to throw away the old soil; it can be used for planting fruit trees and berry bushes.

You can also change the soil only in the planting holes, this will simplify the work.
