Where you can't plant raspberries
Firstly, you can't plant raspberries in the shade. Raspberries are a light-loving crop.
Secondly, raspberries grow poorly on acidic clay and peat soils.
Thirdly, it is strictly forbidden to plant raspberries in lowlands or in waterlogged areas.
Fourthly, areas with close groundwater levels are not suitable for planting raspberries.
Fifthly, raspberries will not do well next to large trees.
Also, you cannot plant raspberries next to sea buckthorn, jasmine, cherry, grapes, blackberries and pink-flowered plants (strawberries, apples, plums, pears, apricots, quince).
