The cellar has all the conditions for the reproduction of mold fungi. First of all, we are talking about high humidity.
There are many different ways to remove excess moisture from the air.
Leave cardboard boxes in the cellar, cover the floor with cardboard and sprinkle sawdust everywhere. When they are soaked with moisture, they should be removed - you can, of course, throw them away, but it is better to put them in the compost.
Dry ash from the stove contains a lot of silicates, which bind water well, so it is enough to take a bucket filled with ash to the cellar. When the bucket becomes heavy, that is, when the ash has absorbed moisture, it can be scattered around the garden right on the snow.
This material can be used more than once - place 10-20 bricks in the cellar to dry the air, then take them out and dry them before reusing.
And here is the most dangerous method, which, nevertheless, summer residents often resort to. It consists of using quicklime, which must be poured into a bucket (not to the top, about half) and left in the cellar somewhere away from eyes and hands.
