Without a properly selected complex fertilizer, you can’t even dream of a good harvest of winter garlic: tired soil with a deficiency of nutrients is not suitable for this.
Therefore, it is worth thinking about options for enriching the garden bed in advance.
What fertilizers will help grow a good harvest of winter garlic
Organics
We are talking about rotted compost with manure of your choice. If the soil as a whole still seems nutritious to you, then we add from five to ten liters of fertilizer per square meter.
If the soil is depleted, then you will need to add at least twenty liters of the product.
Flour with superphosphate
We are talking about bone or fish meal, which have proven themselves to be good as fertilizer. One glass is enough for one meter of a bed (square).
For one square meter of planting, take 40 grams of superphosphate.
Potassium
It is worth paying attention to the following option: two glasses of ash per square meter of soil. This will be quite enough. Instead of ash, you can use twenty grams of potassium sulfate for the same area.
