When to dig potatoes in 2024
This month the most favorable days for harvesting potatoes are August 25, 29 and 30.
Next month, the lunar calendar recommends digging potatoes on September 1-2, 6-11, 15-21, 23-26, 29 and 30.
Mid-season potatoes are usually dug up in late August – early September.
Late varieties are dug up at the end of September and even in October (depending on growing conditions and climate).
You also need to focus on the condition of the tops. If they have turned yellow and dried out, you can start harvesting.
