The trays should be yellow: it attracts whiteflies.
The algorithm of actions is simple. First, we hang the trays around the greenhouse on strings.
Next, put on gloves and lubricate the tray with something sticky: lithol, “Clean House” glue, expired fatty cream, etc.
The whitefly traps are ready. The insects will land on the trays and get stuck in the sticky grease.
Planting pyrethrum, Alaska nasturtium, smoking tobacco and blue ageratum in the greenhouse also helps to drive away pests.
