Mold in Flower Pots: How to Deal with the Problem
If you notice mold in flower pots, you can't delay: over time, it can destroy the plants.

How to save flowers if mold appears in pots
First of all, experienced gardeners recommend removing several centimeters of the top layer of soil. It is infected with harmful microorganisms, so it cannot be saved.
We take the same amount of soil: we need to take as much as we removed.
Next, you need to take several tablets of regular coal and grind them into powder. Combine the coal with the soil.
The layer that remains in the pot itself also needs to be processed. If there are still traces of mold, then proper processing will destroy them.
A weak solution of potassium permanganate is highly recommended. You can also acidify regular water with a small amount of lemon juice and water it. Among industrial preparations, "Fitosporin" has good recommendations.
After we have processed the soil, we can return the remaining soil with coal.
