How to feed flowers in August

At the end of summer, beautiful representatives of the flora need three microelements.

Firstly, during this period flowers need phosphorus: without it, problems with metabolism will arise.

Secondly, flowers need magnesium. Without this element, plants will not be prepared for the drop in air temperature.

Thirdly, it is advisable to replenish the potassium deficiency. Thanks to it, flowers will acquire the ability to accumulate the necessary components.

But it is not worth using nitrogen fertilizers in August.

The following August fertilizers are suitable for roses: superphosphate, boric acid, potassium sulfate, unburned wood residues. Based on the selected product, you need to prepare a solution. Fertilizer can be either root or foliar.

Lilies will “respond” well to a remedy prepared as follows: add two tablespoons of superphosphate and potassium magnesium sulfate to a bucket of water.

It is advisable to feed peonies as follows: dig small holes around the plant, add one potassium and one phosphorus fertilizer, water and cover the soil with mulch (it is better to use humus).
