After the step-sonning procedure, many summer residents are left with a fairly large amount of healthy tops.
Some people simply compost it.
But you can do it differently.
You will need to prepare at least a kilogram of the tops themselves. It is advisable to chop them and put them in a bucket. Then pour in ten liters of water. The liquid should be warm.
After four hours of waiting, we filter the mixture, add a little soap and start treating the plants. The product shows a high level of effectiveness against Colorado beetles, aphids, codling moths, caterpillars, cruciferous fleas and many other insects.
You can also prepare a nutrient for other plants based on the tops. Fill any large container approximately two-thirds full with chopped tops.
Pour in water (but not to the very top), cover with a lid, leaving a small gap for air. Stir the mixture once a day.
In a week and a half you will have an effective universal fertilizer. The product is concentrated: it is diluted 1 to 10.
