How to seed a lawn correctly: don't miss the right period - there are only two of them a year
If you want the lawn in front of your house to look beautiful and well-groomed, you should seed it correctly.
An expert of the online publication BelNovosti, agronomist, and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh spoke about the intricacies of this process.
Let's start with a quick reminder: you can only use two periods of the year to sow your lawn - May and September.
After you have evenly distributed the seeds over the soil surface, do not forget to water the soil well, after which you will only have to wait for the lawn to grow back.
Important note: it is not necessary to buy expensive lawn mixtures; you can limit yourself to simple kits consisting of seeds of trampling-resistant plants.
To make the right choice of seeding material, decide in advance on the purpose and location (it can be sunny or shaded) of growing the lawn.
It is recommended to perform the first mowing a little later - give the plants enough time for their roots to form and grow over the entire surface intended for them.
Lawn care is also not difficult at all – it simply consists of regular mowing and watering.
