To get a good harvest of sweet peppers, they need to be fed regularly.

It is especially important to apply fertilizer when planting seedlings in the soil.

Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication Belnovosti, agronomist and landscape designer, told us how to feed peppers when planting.

What fertilizers do peppers need when planting?

Firstly, you can add wood ash to the holes; it is rich in potassium, phosphorus and calcium.

Compost or humus is added from organic fertilizers. If humus was added in the fall, it should not be used in the spring.
