An expert from the online publication BelNovosti, agronomist and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh left her commentary on each of them.

The smaller the potato tubers, the larger the tubers will be and, accordingly, vice versa.

Based on this advice, many gardeners prefer to plant medium-sized tubers, and cut large ones so that each part has several eyes.

According to the expert, large planted tubers usually yield an excellent harvest, while small ones ultimately yield only a puff, so for planting it is worth using potatoes that are slightly larger in size than a standard chicken egg.
