How far apart should tomatoes be planted?
Tomatoes need to be planted at a considerable distance from each other so that the bushes do not compete for food and water.
If the tomatoes are tall, the distance between seedlings should be 60-70 cm, between rows – up to a meter.
When planting medium-sized tomatoes, the optimal distance between bushes is 55 cm, between rows – 70-80 cm.
As for low-growing tomatoes, there should be 30 cm between bushes and 50 cm between rows.
