Among garden crops, favorable neighbors for strawberries are beans, peas, radishes, horseradish, carrots, onions, garlic, lettuce, sorrel, parsley, borage, and spinach.
As for flowers, strawberries benefit from being close to tulips, clematis, irises, nasturtiums, ferns, delphiniums, peonies, and marigolds.
You can also plant strawberries next to grapes, sea buckthorn and conifers, provided that they have enough light.
It is not recommended to plant strawberries next to nightshades, carnations, sunflowers, Jerusalem artichokes and raspberries.
