Any gardener who has ever taken on the task of growing pepper seedlings is undoubtedly interested in getting strong seedlings with a powerful stem.
According to the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , if the plants look exactly like this, then you can subsequently count on a good harvest of thick-walled peppers.
If the seedlings are lagging behind in growth, try feeding them with calcium nitrate. The proportion is as follows: 5-7 grams per 10 liters of water. After about 1.5 weeks, add the same dose of potassium nitrate.
It is better to apply both fertilizers in small portions and always combine them with watering.
If the stems have a bluish tint, feed the seedlings with potassium monophosphate (4-5 grams per bucket of water).
For combined feeding, you can use “Master” (13:40:13) or a similar product, for example “Yellow Crystalon”.
This time it is worth using, among other things, nitrogen fertilizers, but the emphasis should be on phosphorus and potassium.
During this period, peppers need phosphorus-potassium fertilizers. If you have applied phosphorus earlier, you can apply only potassium. Microfertilizer is applied to the leaves.
Earlier, the expert told what to put in the hole when planting potatoes so that the Colorado potato beetle does not even come close to the bushes.
