To increase the survival rate of rose cuttings and speed up the process of root formation, natural root formers should be used.

There are several recipes for preparing natural growth stimulants that are easy to make yourself. Some of them were shared by the expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh .

Nettle infusion

Nettle is great for helping with root formation because it is rich in phytohormones that stimulate root growth.

To prepare the infusion, you need to take 2 glasses of chopped fresh nettle and pour 10 liters of water over them.

Leave the solution to infuse for a day, then spray the cuttings with this infusion before planting. The remains of the infusion can be used as fertilizer for other plants.

Willow bark is also a good rooting stimulant.

After cooling, strain the broth and spray it on future rose cuttings before planting.
