After transplanting petunia seedlings into separate containers with a capacity of 200 to 250 ml, the root system of the plants is activated and begins to develop a new volume of soil.

Ten days after picking, to ensure rapid and healthy root development, the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh advises using special rooting preparations (for example, Korennik).

Any of these products must be dissolved in water for use as a root dressing.

The use of rooting agents makes the root system of petunia seedlings healthy, which, in turn, will help the plants to more easily tolerate transplantation, effectively absorb nutrients and moisture from the soil, and also promote the growth and development of the above-ground part of the plant.

As a result, petunias will bloom much more actively.

Sometimes after picking, petunia seedlings may have problems with their leaves: lighter or discolored areas appear.

This may indicate a lack of nutrients, as petunia is a very demanding crop and quickly depletes the soil.

To ensure an increase in green mass, growth of lateral shoots and, of course, lush flowering, feed the plants with organo-mineral fertilizers with a high content of folic and humic acids.

Earlier, the expert told which flowers should not be planted in a cemetery.
