Do you want tomato seeds to sprout quickly and for the seedlings to not cause problems in the future? Take care of this now by paying enough attention to the soil.

According to the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , the soil mixture intended for tomato seedlings must necessarily contain such components as fertile soil, peat, loosening agents and fertilizers.

Below you will find 3 proven compositions that are suitable for growing tomato seedlings.

So, the first option consists of 4 parts peat, 1 part turf soil and 1 part humus (compost).

For 10 liters of the resulting soil mixture, it is also worth adding 3 liters of river sand, 10 g of ammonium nitrate, 2-3 g of superphosphate, 1-1.5 g of potassium chloride.

Turf soil can be replaced with rotted sawdust, and then you will get a second version of soil for tomato seedlings, consisting of 3 parts peat, 1 part sawdust and 0.5 parts humus (compost).

10 liters of the mixture contain all the same additional “ingredients” in the form of sand and fertilizers.

Let's move on to the third, final option, for which you will need to take peat, turf and humus (compost) in equal quantities and add to them 1.5 cups of ash, 3 tablespoons of superphosphate, 1 tablespoon of potassium sulfate and 1 teaspoon of urea (the amount of fertilizer is indicated based on 10 liters of soil mixture).
