Many of us believe that growing onions for greens is so easy that it does not require any special skills from the “plant grower”.
However, even in such a seemingly simple process there are subtleties, and only by knowing and taking them into account can you count on a large harvest.
Let's start with the basics.
To plant onions for greens, you will need to select large bulbs, place them in a flat container tightly and periodically water them.
In just 14-20 days you will have fresh greens.
Depending on the size of the bulbs, you will be able to collect not one, but 2-3 harvests - the larger the "mother material", the higher this probability.
And a urea supplement will help increase your chances of success.
To prepare it, dissolve 50 g of the preparation in 10 liters of water and add it to the onions once every three days at the rate of 200 g of the finished fertilizer per liter of water.
As a result, thanks to the nitrogen contained in urea, the onion will naturally sprout and grow faster, the taste of the feathers will become softer, and they themselves will turn out shiny and thick.
