Not all summer residents know about the preparation, thanks to the use of which at the seedling stage you can get a harvest a month earlier and, in addition, protect plants from all kinds of pests and diseases.
Meanwhile, its name is known to everyone, because we are talking about urea. Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, agronomist and landscape designer, spoke about the beneficial properties of this product.
Let's return to the question of why it is worth choosing urea for feeding seedlings.
The whole point is that it contains 44% nitrogen, and this element is in a fast and accessible form for plants.
To prepare the product, urea should be mixed in equal proportions with phosphate rock and superphosphate (10 mg per bucket of water).
Please note: if the soil contains ash, chalk or lime, you will not see any effect, as a neutralization reaction will occur.
When real leaves appear on the seedlings, be sure to treat them with potassium nitrate a week before transplanting them to their permanent “place of residence.”
The above-mentioned “combination” makes the bushes as strong as possible, which means that the plants will not be afraid of diseases and pests.
If you are looking for a natural replacement, consider chlorella.
Earlier we talked about when to sow exhibition onions for seedlings.
