What foods are best not to throw in the trash
Here are some options.
- Tea leaves. It can be used both as a fertilizer and for mulching.
- Coffee grounds. Also great for feeding plants that don't like acidic soils.
- Banana peel. You can dry it in the microwave, freeze it and take it to the garden in the spring.
- Orange peel. It is rich in potassium, phosphorus, sodium, flavonoids and pectins.
