Eggplant is a tasty and healthy fruit from which you can create a real culinary masterpiece.

Any gardener who grows this vegetable crop expects that the nightshade harvest will not disappoint. You want there to be many large fruits.

The secret to a bountiful harvest of eggplants is the correct preliminary “treatment” of the garden bed.

An interesting dacha trick was shared by the expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", scientist-agronomist and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh .

What to sprinkle the beds with?

Before transplanting seedlings into open ground, the summer resident should sprinkle the selected area with humus.

For every 1 m2 there should be 7 to 10 liters of organic fertilizer.

After the humus is on the soil cover, it is necessary to evenly distribute the organic matter throughout the bed.

A rake will come to the rescue: with the help of this tool, a summer resident can easily crush large pieces.

Important point: you need to use rotted manure. Using fresh manure can lead to the death of the plant.

It is worth emphasizing that preliminary sprinkling of the garden bed with humus helps to increase the yield of not only eggplants, but also cucumbers.

Earlier, summer residents were told how to quickly and easily fight aphids.
