The goal of many summer residents who grow tomatoes is to obtain sweet fruits.

To increase the sugar content of vegetables, it is necessary to replenish the deficiency of various microelements.

Gardeners usually remember the importance of nitrogen and potassium. But owners of country plots often forget to apply phosphorus fertilizers on time.

It is important to consider the following point: tomatoes need phosphorus throughout the entire growing season.

Do not expect that fertilizer applied in the first half of summer will work until the harvest. Phosphorus fertilizers should be used after July 15.

An expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", agronomist and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh spoke about one super-product based on phosphorus.

How to feed tomatoes to increase sugar content

It is necessary to prepare a fertilizer based on superphosphate. Two hundred grams of this product should be poured with a liter of high-temperature water.

The contents of the container should be stirred periodically. After a couple of hours the product will be ready, 200 milliliters should be poured into a bucket almost completely filled with clean water.

The result will be a fertilizer that needs to be added to the soil in the tomato beds. One bucket of liquid is enough for one square meter of the plot.

Thanks to such feeding, tomatoes will grow sweeter and tastier. At the same time, we must not forget about other important microelements (potassium, boron).

Earlier, the expert spoke about a super-fertilizer that can help you get a rich plum harvest.
