After purchasing a houseplant, many novice gardeners simply place it on the windowsill with other flowers.

Even if you bought a good flower and it did not start to “wither”, you should not replant it immediately.

Of course, pots from the store are hardly suitable for keeping the plant in this container for a long time.

Let's see what the expert of the online publication "Belnovosti" and agronomist Anastasia Kovrizhnykh advises on this matter.

It is important to wait at least a couple of weeks before performing this procedure – the plant needs time to adapt to the new living conditions.

It is also not recommended to replant flowering houseplants - you need to wait until flowering ends. Sometimes you can even cut off the buds so that the plant spends energy on growth, and not on reproduction.

We have already touched on the topic of indoor plants, talking about the ficus.
