If you are into gardening, you may have come across information about the benefits of what others call “waste” for indoor plants.
In this regard, the expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh suggests paying attention to the question: is it possible to use such natural fertilizers that "didn't make it" to the trash can?
In particular, we are talking about used tea leaves or grounds left in a coffee cup.
It is believed that such an additive, added to the soil, not only contains nutrients that it transfers to plants, but also makes the soil loose and repels harmful insects.
Accordingly, the answer to the question of whether it is possible to add grounds to pots with indoor flowers is positive.
At the same time, do not forget about one important thing: you should not get carried away with such feeding, so as not to acidify the soil.
Anticipating the question, we will answer right away: yes, the leaves left over from tea drinking can also be placed in pots with indoor plants.
If we compare tea with coffee, it is worth noting that the former (tea) acidifies the soil less, but when using it, it is quite possible that a white coating will form on the surface of the soil, so in this case, attention will also not hurt.
