In November, you can still have time to sow ornamental plants - the main thing is to do it before the frost sets in.

Sowing is done exclusively with seeds and before the snow falls. In early spring, you can save time and count on early shoots of colorful flowers.

Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", an agronomist and landscape designer, named three plants that can be sown before the end of autumn.

Yarrow

This is not a weed, but a variety of flower bred by breeders. It will delight you in the spring with red, pink and purple petals.

The plant is not demanding at all and does not require care. It grows in any soil.

Sowing can be done at zero level, planting the seeds to a depth of 2 cm.

After sowing, cover with dry soil and mulch of dry leaves or sawdust. In the spring, remove the mulch, thin out the seedlings if necessary.

Phloxes

It is recommended to sow in frozen soil. You just need to choose a place in partial shade.

The seeds are placed in holes at intervals of 5 cm from each other and covered with soil.

Decorative flax

Sowing can be done even on snow. The only thing the seeds are afraid of is severe frosts.

Therefore, the planting site must be additionally covered with snow.
