It is unlikely that you will use your lawn mower for its intended purpose during the winter months, which are just around the corner.

For this reason, it is worth taking care of storing the tool, thanks to which it will be protected from rapid wear and tear, and you will get rid of a number of troubles that inevitably arise in the spring.

The first thing you should do when it comes to a lawn mower from any manufacturer is to clean it from grass residue. To remove stuck debris, you can use a plastic or metal spatula, and a metal brush will help get rid of the remains.

Just in case, let us remind you: all work is carried out when the device is not connected to the power supply.

Once the first stage is completed, proceed to the second: remove the blades from the lawn mower, which should be washed using a solution of ethyl alcohol, and then machine oil.

The same product (oil) should also be used to treat the moving elements of the device.

Now you can safely store your clean garden tools in a dry (required) room for the winter.

By the way, you can use this same instruction to prepare other motor equipment such as chainsaws, trimmers, pruners, etc. The only addition concerns gasoline tools: in addition to everything, you should drain the remaining fuel from them, then remove the filters and install them in their original place after drying. But it is recommended not to put the chain back on after removing it and cleaning it from sawdust, but to wrap it in oiled paper after it is removed.
