There is one, but ridiculously simple life hack that allows you to deal with condensation that often collects on glass during the cold season.

All you need to do is choose the right flowers and place them on the windowsill.

Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", an agronomist and landscape designer, told us which flowers like high humidity.

The listed plants love this environment, thanks to which they normalize the air humidity near the window.

English Ivy

The plant is unpretentious and inexpensive. Leaving it on the windowsill, you can be sure that the air humidity will be normal, condensation will not fall out and mold and fungus are guaranteed not to appear.

Lily

It loves moisture very much, and this is the only condition that needs to be provided. Otherwise, it is unpretentious and perfectly absorbs excess moisture on windows.

Palm

The indoor palm grows in the tropics, so high humidity will only be a joy for it. The main thing is that the palm does not freeze on the window, and it will bring the humidity level back to normal.

Chlorophytum

The gardener does not need anything at all. Even a beginner can handle the plant. In addition to normalizing the humidity level, chlorophytum cleans the air of harmful substances.

Sansevieria

The plant does not require frequent watering and can confidently do without water for up to a month. Due to this rare quality, sanseveria will feed on condensate, saving residents from dampness and mold.

Nephrolepis

Like chlorophytum, it works as a filter, purifying the air from formaldehyde and other harmful substances, and at the same time copes with humidity.
