A rich harvest of garlic always pleases the gardener, but after harvesting and drying, the question of storage arises.
After some time, the garlic begins to dry out and even become moldy.
We suggest you take on board a few tricks that will allow you to preserve the fruits until spring.
Let's look into this issue in a little more detail.
Take glass jars and gauze. The container needs to be washed and sterilized. Place the garlic heads in the jar so that there is some free space left inside.
This free space needs to be filled with gauze - we put the fabric in several layers and leave the jars open. There is no need to close them with a lid.
Next, place the jars in a dark, closed room with normal humidity. If you take the jars to the basement, the garlic may start to rot.
A good place to store garlic can be a cellar or pantry.
