What can you do with tomatoes
These are the simple tricks.
- Turn the plants towards the sun. This will help the fruits ripen faster. Make sure that the tomatoes are exposed to as much sunlight as possible.
- Remove leaves that block the sun from the tomatoes. As you already understood, this will speed up ripening.
- Pinch the tops of the plants. This will free up additional resources for ripening.
- You can put a transparent bag on the fruits, which will speed up ripening even more – the fruits will ripen in 3 days.
- Spray the plant with a mixture of iodine, potassium permanganate and tomato paste with salt - this will activate the production of lycopene.
