Some people think that the presence of crooked cucumbers in the garden means that the vegetable harvest is simply doomed.
In such cases, it is necessary to collect deformed fruits and eat them.
However, not everyone knows that ordinary fertilizer can help solve such a serious problem, says landscape designer and agronomist Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , an expert at the online publication BelNovosti.
Usually, the appearance of crooked cucumbers can be caused by only two reasons. The first is insufficient watering. The situation is aggravated by the presence of hot weather.
You just need to improve the process of adding moisture and the cucumbers will again begin to grow in a beautiful, correct shape.
The second reason is a lack of potassium. This is why experienced gardeners add the nutrient in sufficient quantities at the end of the summer season, after they have chosen a bed for planting.
But you can do without it.
You will need to take only one spoon of potassium phosphate per bucket of water. Afterwards, the plants are sprayed with the resulting solution.
You can also buy any other potassium fertilizer and use it according to the instructions.
