The main mistake that many summer residents make when growing dill: you can't see the lush greenery, like your own ears

It is unlikely that there is a single gardener who does not grow dill on his own plot.

However, many people do it incorrectly, which is why they cannot expect to get spreading, emerald-green bunches of greenery.

But it is enough to correct just one mistake, and you will be able to collect fragrant and juicy dill from your own garden, instead of buying it from grandmothers at the market.

But first, it is worth talking about the main principles that must be followed in the process of growing dill.

Firstly, this crop requires slightly acidic soil. If the soil is alkaline, you can forget about a good harvest of the herb.

It is for this reason that ash, which alkalizes the soil, cannot be used as fertilizer.

Secondly, to obtain luxurious greenery, it is necessary to add fertilizer, for example, by dissolving a tablespoon of ammonia and a teaspoon of citric acid in 10 liters of water.

Use the resulting solution for watering once every 3 days.

And thirdly, be careful when choosing seeds.

Many plant growers buy the most budget seeds, which, most often, gift them with flower stalks, completely refusing to grow juicy greenery. This is the very mistake.

If your goal is to collect fluffy bunches of tender and fragrant greenery, choose bush hybrids for growing.
