How to defeat slugs in the garden: follow the rules of advanced gardeners

Many summer residents often complain about the invasion of slugs - they quickly multiply in areas with high humidity.

Slugs do pose a threat to crops and for this reason they need to be controlled.

First of all, you need to know that it is better to water the plants in the morning, since in this case you will not create a favorable environment for the reproduction of slugs.

Weeding is extremely important, as slugs often hide in weeds. Also, be sure to remove all leaves and loosen the soil in the bed.

You can keep chickens and ducks on the site - they love slugs. If there are no birds, you can install a damp log on the site, which will become a kind of trap for the invertebrate.

Sprinkle salt in areas where slugs live, but do not sprinkle salt directly on the beds, as plants do not like this.

The fewer slugs there are near crops, the greater the yield will be.
