Potatoes consume nutrients throughout the entire growing season.

At the beginning of growth it needs nitrogen, and then requires mineral fertilizers.

After flowering, potatoes begin to form tubers and it is during this period that fertilizers must be added to accelerate growth.

The main ingredient of the fertilizer is superphosphate, since phosphorus has a positive effect on the growth of tubers.

We dilute superphosphate in water in a ratio of 20 g per 10 liters of water - the granules should completely dissolve in water.

Once the fertilizer has been diluted, you can begin feeding – spray the crop in the evening in calm weather.

Plants absorb nutrients through their leaves. This type of feeding also promotes the outflow of carbohydrates from the leaves to the tubers.

The more carbohydrates, the higher the yield. It is also important to understand that the size of the harvest is greatly affected by the fertility of the soil.

It is recommended to apply organic fertilizers in autumn or spring.
