The ash that remains after burning cut grass or trees is an excellent fertilizer.

The advantage is not only its availability and low cost, but also the fact that this product is rich in potassium, phosphorus, magnesium and other useful elements that help improve the composition of the soil.

But, as experienced gardeners note, even the most useful fertilizer in the world is not suitable for all plants.

The fact is that the composition contains enough salts, which have an extremely negative effect on the delicate roots of seedlings.

You shouldn't overdo it with this product on potato plantings, otherwise fungus may appear.

When using ash, you should also take into account that it reduces the acidity of the soil. Some plants will not like this.

There are also crops for which such feeding is pure poison.

We are talking about lavender, calendula, sorrel, primrose and sage.
