But what to do if you don’t have a pair of “mittens” at hand or if you find a huge hole in one of the gloves?
There is no need to despair, nor to start working without hand protection.
Instead, head to the kitchen cabinet where you keep your cling film.
Wrap it around the handle of a shovel, rake, or any other tool you plan to use to prepare the soil.
Thanks to this simple action, it will be possible to reduce the sliding of the skin on the surface, and the hands will be protected from the appearance of blisters and possible splinters.
