Feeding roses with a product based on castor oil will help the plant form a large number of buds.
The effect of this folk remedy differs from mineral fertilizers. The expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh told about the intricacies of its use.
Castor oil affects the hormonal balance, which causes the plant to produce large quantities of substances necessary for flowering and growth.
1. Dilute castor oil in water in a ratio of 1:1000.
2. Water the roses with the resulting solution 1-2 times a month, depending on the condition of the plants.
3. You can also use castor oil to spray roses. To do this, mix 5 ml of castor oil with 1 liter of water.
4. Add a small amount of sugar or honey to the solution to attract bees and other insects that will help feed the roses.
Before use, the rose must be watered and sprayed with water. This is done to prevent the plant from getting burned.
Castor oil is applied 2 hours after watering.
