Tomatoes and peppers will quickly recover from the cold in May-June if you feed them with a certain fertilizer.
Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication Belnovosti, agronomist and landscape designer, tells us how to feed tomatoes and peppers.
To prepare the fertilizer, you will need three ingredients: calcium nitrate, potassium sulfate and sifted wood ash.
You need one tablespoon of calcium nitrate and potassium sulfate per 10-liter bucket of water, and three tablespoons of ash.
Each plant requires one liter of solution. One liter can be left for foliar feeding (dilute with 5 liters of water and spray).
After feeding with this mixture, peppers and tomatoes recover in just a couple of days.
