Even an inexperienced gardener can grow tasty and large beets if he wants, and he just needs to use a simple and effective method that our grandmothers used.
The secret lies in using folk fertilizer, which at first glance may seem impractical and even dangerous, but this method is harmless to beets if you do not exceed the dosage.
First, you need to make sure that the temperature outside is stable and on average not lower than 10-12 degrees, and then proceed to planting.
Beet seeds do not need to be soaked; they germinate well without it.
After 14-15 days from planting, you can start fertilizing. To prepare the solution, just dissolve 1 teaspoon of salt in 10 liters of water and add 2 cups of ash. Water the beets with this solution.
After 2 weeks of salt treatment, you can feed the plants with another fertilizer by spraying: dissolve 2 g of boric acid in 10 liters of water.
After 3 weeks, it would not hurt to repeat the feeding with salt in the same proportions as in the first case.
Use simple methods of fertilizing plants that allow you to grow tasty and large beets.
